Continuing his dedication to innovation, Dimas Satrio Pamungkas has embarked on the development of a new product the Parang Pesisir. Staying true to GAWA’s design philosophy, this creation is not merely a utilitarian tool but also a tribute to Indonesia’s coastal heritage, merging refined local aesthetics with high-level functionality.
Built with a full tang frame, the Parang Pesisir shares the same overall length as the Parang Belukar V02. The distinction lies in its choice of material: stainless steel. This material is exceptionally well-suited to the demanding conditions of coastal environments, from exposure to seawater to encounters with vegetation such as coconut palms, mangroves, and other shoreline flora. The blade’s thickness, at 3mm, also sets it apart from its predecessors.
Today, the Parang Pesisir continues to be the preferred choice among adventurers, valued for its durability and ease of maintenance qualities that stem directly from its stainless steel construction.
